Re: Software you use
On my Mac I use TVpaint, Final Cut, Motion, and the Affinity suite. On my galaxy Tab, Tvpaint, Artflow, RoughAnimator When I need to do something quick and export on it. On my iPad I use Callipeg and you can now export TVpaint compatible files. And I do a lot of backgrounds in Procreate. And most my...

Re: Tvpaint Android keeps crashing on s7 plus
So far so good. I had a little warning saying this app was built for an older version of android, but works fine otherwise

Re: Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 vs Pro 24 for TVPaint
personally I found 16" more than enough for TVpaint. Currently I'm using a 13" Mobile studio pro. I also used my 11" Galaxy Tab to sketch when that was compatible (They are fixing this). I'll be honest though, A laptop and a separate tablet are hardly portable. Even my mobile studio p...

Re: Recommendations for Cintiq alternatives ?
I'm not sure if it's out of beta yet, but Callipeg lets you import and export TVpaint Json files, so you can jump between Tvpaint and iPad now. Yes, I did read that Callipeg has the ability to export projects with layer structure preserved to a JSON file. TVPaint will export to JSON , but I don't k...

Re: Recommendations for Cintiq alternatives ?
recently bought the Tab s7 . I honestly can't pick between the two. At gun point it's the iPad, but when you are drawing clean frames, the sharper tip of the S-pen is better. And when I have a big TVpaint project I switch to my Galaxy. When you received the Galaxy Tab s7 did it already have Android...

Re: Recommendations for Cintiq alternatives ?
Are there plans for TVpaint on Android to become a serious thing or is it still in market experimentation phase? TVPaint is fully functional on Android. It's only since the release of Android 11 that there is a system conflict which prevents TVPaint from running on Android 11. It works fine on Andr...

Re: Recommendations for Cintiq alternatives ?
I'm a total geek for tablets. Looks like TVpaint will abandon the Android project, so maybe don't get that. Which is a shame, as TVpaint runs fantastic on Galaxy Tabs S3 and above(when it's not on Android 11  ). Using Sidecar, Astropad, duet display or Easy Canvas, should really be your last r...

Re: Tvpaint Android keeps crashing on s7 plus
I hope you guys can find a fix. I've been enjoying having a version of TVpaint on the go. Just upgraded to the Tab S7, as I couldn't handle the ghosting on my Tab S6 lite. Am I the only one happy to pay for this version? I would Happily pay a $100 (not a subscription) to have this as my companion ap...

What's up Fool? Cartoons
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lphbE8gVUs&t=28s I do these little cartoons for Mexican American Comedian Felipe Esparza. Not sure if he is popular around these forums, but the guy is pretty funny. I usually put these together on my iPad with Rough Animator, but the latest episode I put togethe...

Re: Samsung Tab S7 (S7+) Anyone using with TVPaint-Android?
I've only used it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and now the Tab S6lite. Performance wise these do the job well enough. I can concept some ideas, rough out animatics (Or finish it if I'm in the zone on the couch) and clean up smaller gif animations. Anything else it goes onto the desktop. My only main g...

Re: TV Paint on Android - Issues on Samsung Tab S7
TVpaint should fly on the Tab S7. I used to use it on my Tab s3, and Now I I have a Tab s6 lite. TVpaint works on it like a charm. I had infrequent crashes on the S3, and the Tab S 6 lite I think I had 2 - 3 crashes in 3 months. So Is it better now? I do find the amount of UI on it to be too much, d...

Re: Could there be a future for TVPaint iPad ?
Well the Android version of TV paint already runs on a form of arm chips. My Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 lite runs it quite well as did my old Samsung galaxy tab s3. So if the Exynos and Snap Dragon Chips run it, no reason the A12X or above couldn't. I think it's more about how to have it there. It's free...
