Another option, if you don't have Photoshop, is to use the open source painting application Krita to do the RGB->CMYK conversion for you:

Re: Bakshi animator documents jail experience
She actually had some followup meetings with the sheriff's office and they are changing some of the hygiene policies in the county because of her cartoons!

Unfortunately linux didnt want to work with my wacom cintiq 13hd so I gave up linux and went back to win...

Bakshi animator documents jail experience
Interesting story about animator Elana Pritchard who spent a couple of months last summer in a county jail. She was working for Ralph Bakshi at the time and he suggested she document her experience with a pencil. Here is her story: http://www.laweekly.com/publicspectacle/2014/12/31/when-a-cartoonist...

Re: Solved: linux unrecognize sound and freeze
Verify that the audio settings in TVPaint match what you have setup for your system and for your audio files. Are you using PulseAudio or direct ALSA sound? Thanks allot Idragosani, that solved it :D I was using alsa. After installing pulseaudio I now have sound and no freeze! Chances are that some...

Re: linuxMint depencdency problem
It might be a broken package in the dependency chain. As far as I can tell, TVPaint doesn't directly depend on that library, although something else TVPaint depends on probably does: $ dpkg -I "TVPaint Animation 10.5.5.11673s Pro (64).deb" new debian package, version 2.0. size 53349392 byt...

If you're talking about cleaning up scanned images originally drawn on paper, this already exists in TVPaint.

Re: Gavin Ball : Daily Doodle 044 - Landscape drawing in TVP
Personnally, I like this drawing. :) It's not an usual format, not an ordinary scene, the colors are corrects, ... Birds are not clones since drawn individually. The technique he is using is interesting -- using the shape tool and drawing irregular and random shapes and filling them with color rath...

Re: Animation Paper Software
David, I think Niels sufficiently demonstrated with the original Plastic Animation Paper software that he knows how to make a clean interface and produce nice line qualities (unlike Flipbook or Pencil). I don't have the vaporware-fear that you are insinuating. I didn't mean to imply that it is vapo...

Re: TV Paint Light?
@Neonnoddle : when you want to play piano, you can start with a low cost digital piano. Then, when you master your passion, you can purchase another piano, more powerful, whatever if you are a professional or a hobbyist. That's the same with animation : you can start with a low cost software (among...

Re: TV Paint Light?
He really said TVPaint stole the idea of the Blue Pencil? Blue was never a color used in digital drawing before PAP then?
