One TVP Installation for two dongels?
Hello, I use a laptop very often and work at different places. Sometimes I forget to take the dongle with me. Specially after one hour of traveling through the whole city it is very annoying when I realize, that I have forgotten to take the dongle out of my stationary pc. But at my second most used ...

Re: Grid & Guideline save
But if I open a new dokument, i have to do it again. The same adjustments for each new dokument. Does somebody know how can i save this grid adjustments to ad my own grid in a new dokument? Another way could be to save one empty project with your grid settings and use it as a base for new projects ...

Re: Export resolution issue
No, the cam is not exact the size of your project. It has the size you gave her by your own hand. In my opinion this is the only way to get what you want. But I would do it with the cam and it's 100% possibility rather than doing the math in the output - cause of possible decimals and rounded conver...

Re: Export resolution issue
Hey David, for your second question please try to understand my last answer. If you do so you will get exactly that part of your project which is framed by the cam. And its in the projects native resolution. I know, it's a bit difficult and I also needed some time in the past to understand. 1. take ...

Re: What is the best size for projects?
Hello Forrest, every project have it's own "best resolution" settings and I think it is difficult to give some concrete hints as long as I don't know what kind of project it is. However, maybe the followings helps. I do mostly animation projects shown at filmfestivals and on the internet. ...

Re: Export resolution issue
Yes, if the camera zooms you would get a different size for every rendered frame. But if the cam don't zoom or if is OK for you to get a stack of images with different size on every frame (I don't know of any video-file which is able to change its resolution during playback) , than you could reach y...

Re: Export resolution issue
OK and thanks. Now, the setup is clear and I begin to understand. Is the camera set to 1920 x 1080 and it is zooming from, let's say 120% to 140% between the two positions? And as a result you want to have a movie-file changing its resolution between the positions but staying at a native resolution ...

Re: Export resolution issue
Hmh? Difficult to understand. Maybe you could think it in an opposite way? Make the camera-size to your native resolution and if needing a lower size (1080p) you could convert it in the export panel to that. It is also recomputing, but in the other direction. Edit: But as long as the camera size is ...

Re: Can't Open TVPaint
For the dongle-problem, I would try to install the newest drivers from manufactors homepage. The dongle is called "Sentinel". But I think you will not get your old TVPaint working on Win10 in general. Here is a discussion about the problem: http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t...

Re: Workflow question for a short
I would advise the following workflow. It's more comfortable than slowtigers method (which was the best method before CLIPS were invented and which is not wrong) when having a master soundtrack and having different camera movements in the clips (when working with clips). But I think it only works in...

Re: 11.0.8 "B color to A color"-Mode ???
Haha, I got it. Short explanation: 1. Draw something with A color. 2. Set the A color to be the B color. 3. Set the tools drawing mode to "B color to A color" 4. Choose a new A color 5. Draw over the first drawing 6. The strokes of the first drawing will change their color (which is now th...

11.0.8 "B color to A color"-Mode ???
Hello, I've been looking to the new features of 11.0.8 and tried to find out what the drawing mode "B color to A color" is doing. Hmmm? It is doing nothing. It is not drawing in A color, not in B color. It is not drawing at all. I expectet something like mixing between B and A. My question...

Re: TVPaint User Accounts are now available !
Edit: Problem solved by PM. :-). Hello, I just got my new TVPaint. I didn't deinstalled my former version (11.08) and just changed the dongle (removed the old one, plucked in the new one). That seems to work and I tried to get the new unlock code from the user account. Should I get an email immediat...

Re: Audio problem
You have two possibilities where to put the soundfiles. They can be project-sounds or clip-sounds. You could check if your sounds are accidentaly imported to both situations. If yes, you have to delete them in the clip(s) AND in the project.
