You may have the option selected for displays to have separate spaces (requires logging out to apply a change). I think it's in the control panel under "Spaces" or "Mission Control" or wherever the options for Spaces are set.

Re: A Question about Tablet PC, Android and Nomad
That's too bad about the international availability. I did try one of my students' Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the TVP Android beta ran surprisingly well. This guy has a good writeup of a bunch of devices: http://www.jessebandersen.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http:/...

Re: A Question about Tablet PC, Android and Nomad
That Lenovo Yoga X1 looks pretty good with the stylus performance, but it isn't cheap (starting at $1210). About five months ago I set out to configure the smallest, cheapest useable TVPaint computer. I ended up with a Toshiba Encore 2 Write for under $350 including all accessories: The Good: - Chea...

Re: Multi-Panel Tab Simulator - Store more buttons in less s
This is an ingenious idea, but it was kind of time-consuming to set it up. I wonder if anyone else would adopt the process if it were a little quicker. It would be very cool if there was a one-click solution to get the six panels set up. Attached is a zip file with the six TVPX panels in place, and ...

Re: pencilbrush that behaves like real pencil
I'm thrilled if anyone finds these useful. In terms of pixel width...I made the brushes first, then measured the line diameter afterwards (using the very fancy technique of hovering my cursor at the top of the line, referring to the y value in the status bar, and subtracting the y-value of the botto...

Re: blur effect
Furushil, you seem to have it under control! I didn't know for sure that the stencil solution would work until I tried it. I posted the .tvpp project above. For the "too-few brush stamps" problem, decrease the dispersion. Warning: if you get down to 2 or 1, you may crash TVP. That happens ...

Re: blur effect
You can also make a filled shape on another layer above the layer to be affected with an opacity gradient (white on top, black on the bottom), then set the layer as a stencil. Hide visibility. Apply the FX Stack blur to the image layer (not the stencil layer) and the FX element will be screened thro...

Re: pencilbrush that behaves like real pencil
I really like this pencil. I played around with it and made some variations. I have been using a different blue than the stock sketch panel blue, which is not "green" enough for my taste. So I modified the current blue sketch panel buttons to be RGB (0, .5, 1) and included them in this pan...

Wow, you did it! Very subtle pencil. I'll use it in Alpha Diff mode, since I like a slower buildup. Thanks!

Re: assigning key to all rooms
I'm encountering this issue regularly with almost all new users of TVPaint who attempt to use rooms. The functionality is useful and I can see why the rooms have the keystrokes set independently. I like this. But the UI does not make it clear that this is the case: when you assign shortcuts, you're ...

Re: link more than one feature to the brushsettings
Neonnoodle, I believe the request was to have size be influenced by pressure and altitude, rather than have two brush parameters each be affected by the same stylus variable. I have found that you can simulate this type of thing by making an animated brush (of perhaps 10-100 frames, depending on the...

Re: Show brush mode in status bar
+1 I have accidentally erased while attempting to draw many, many times. In fact, I usually include "Drawing Mode : (01) Color" in my custom brush actions for this reason. I would especially appreciate if there was a visual symbol that could be identified in peripheral vision. Perhaps a hi...

Re: Can I render what the lighttable displays ?
+1 I too would like a checkbox in the export dialog to render the current lighttable display (as Malcooning mocked up). It would be very powerful, in part because you already get such a nice realtime preview while you're tweaking the light table. Maybe this thread should be moved to "feature re...

Re: "New Zoom Window" when in full screen mode
A cool thing to do is open a zoom window and hit '[' to flip it, and have a mirrored preview at all times.
I love this feature but I agree about it being confusing when you're in full-screen mode.
