I seem to have lost my sketch panels . . .

I recently had a virus invade my computer. After much turmoil, I got everything back to normal. In the process, I somehow lost the sketch panels in TVPaint. :?: I've attached a screen shot of the empty panels. Any thoughts or advice on what I can do to get them back? (To no avail, I've unins...

Re: Toonybrain's Book Cover Art

Ha! That's a good one! I don't think anyone will buy that one.

Additionally, I was also perplexed when Barnes & Noble had it on their site about a month ago.

Quite frankly, I don't fully understand the import attached to a book's "official release date."

Re: Toonybrain's Book Cover Art

To answer your question ZO, Amazon.com specifies the range between 4-8, but I had a 10 year old tell me she loved it (which made me very happy). Thanks for your input re: the bee. The bee kind of took on a life of his own. He was an afterthought in one of the illustrations, but he seemed to be a hit...

Toonybrain's Book Cover Art

Hello everyone! This here is the artwork for the front cover of my soon-to-be-released children's book, The Tree Monkeys. The book includes 17 illustrations - ALL done with TVPaint and TVPaint alone. I cannot show the 17 until the book is released on August 23, 2011 or it will spoil the surprise for...

Yet Another Strange Issue Never Before Encountered . . .

I think I qualify for the award for strange issues never before encountered. Here's another one. Lately, when I regularly save a project on which I'm working in TVP, a box pops up after I click SAVE that says it's moving the file. I jump on the box quickly and click CANCEL and end it's processing of...

Re: STRANGE ISSUE never before encountered . . .

Sven, way to go! I'll try that in the event this ever happens again.

I'm also thinking that perhaps my Windows operating system downloaded some updates while I had been working in TVPaint, then the system got all wacky because it needed a reboot. I don't know . . .

Re: barefoot running

Interesting thread . . . I too am a runner. I recently bought a pair of those running shoes with the toes in them. They look like gloves for your feet. I was warned by the sales clerk to introduce your feet to them gradually, but my feet took to them right away. They fit like a glove (couldn't resis...

Re: motion keyframer

I thank you for this thread as I just started animating again after drawing nothing but illustrations since December. I feared I forgot elements to motion keyframing, so I hoped I'd find here in the forum some refresher info. And here it is! Thanks. :D

Re: visual layer reference

Wow! Holy mackerel! (Regarding the shake part.)
Please do! Yes! Oui! Merci! (Regarding chatbraque's offer of a few screenshots tutorial.)

How do you guys KNOW all this?

What happens in one layer happens in 'em all . . .

I've encountered several situations where I wished that I could make what I did to one layer occur in all of the layers I've selected. Example. I'm animating two clips. Both clips have a monkey moving in the same way at the beginning and end. The monkey has been done in about 8 different layers. I d...

Hilere, I see here that you gave it your best shot. The overwhelming response to your meager suggestion reminded me of the stoning scene in The Life of Brian . . .

Re: visual layer reference

I don't understand any of this conversation except the first entry . . . :O

What is "zoom:shake"? How do I do this? I've seen reference to this exuberance-evoking option before, but alas, I know naught . . . :(

Re: Rain Town

Beautiful work. The rainy, monochromatic industrial area scenes were reminiscent of Blade Runner, but without the video screens everywhere. I loved the perspectives. Great talent.
