Please check your preferences in TVPaint : Edit > Preferences > Start up > "Remember last used preference".

I think what could be done is to include a printed notice on a slip of paper that is inside the install DVD packaging , which has the same text as the FAQ , emphasizing "Don't lose the dongle or you will have to pay for a new license" . Also , maybe put the same notification on the invoic...

From memory, you can create a Basic flip and use "custom" limits, to be -N images before to +N after.

Well that's not really a bug, there is nothing to fix. But indeed, there is something to improve

So now every layer has it's own name and every instance on that layer has an identifying Prefix letter and is numbered to the frame.

That feature is also included by default in TVPaint now

Why don't you select the frames you want to play before hitting space bar to play the selection ?

Sure you can. You will then have 2 different Lock and Unlock codes, but once they are stored in your laptop, you won't be asked for the unlock codes any more.
