You also have the Colorize and Tint blending modes for layers and/or tools, experiment a bit with these...

That red "confirm" dates back to when the popup-menus appeared under the mouse pointer, instead of to the right of it like now. It was then too easy with a tablet to "flash" the menu and releasing immediately the stylus to... delete a layer without noticing it immediately to undo...

Ce n'est pas tout à fait vrai... :) Il faut que le masque soit "inversé", càd noir là où le dessin doit disparaitre, et transparent là où le dessin doit rester. Si le masque est exactement l'opposé, il est possible de le convertir avec le FX Couleur->Courbes, en changeant uniquement la cou...

Not 100% up to date, but close enough.

Just uncheck the "PreLoad" option in the import dialog.
It is strongly advised to Lock that layer, because if you draw on one of it's frames, or modify it in any other way (FX,etc...), that frame will be stored in the project and not reloaded the next time.

That's what "Multi-backup Directory" in the Preferences panel is for.

I don't use twitter because, except the occasional WTF?, my thoughts are deeper than 140 characters, so my help is limited... OK, "from the last drawn point", as I haven't drawn anything it's the top left corner, if I drawn something it starts effectively from there.

I don't know if it can be disabled, and I don't even understand what it is supposed to do as the line always starts from the upper left corner !
