Re: TVPAINT ANIMATION 10 : Pre-order now !
Yeah I know about the regular tools, the idea of vector tools are mainly to increase sales I guess and adding to the feature list :) I'm from Israel and in the process of opening my own studio / create an animated film. So I'm buying gear, and tvpaint is my next purchase, so that's why I'm asking q...

Re: TVPAINT ANIMATION 10 : Pre-order now !
I was actually thinking that TVPaint could add a vector tools (pen, move handles..etc), not converting the entire application to be vector based. Bitmap is indeed awesome! I got nothing to say about it, and TVPaint does the job above the rest! ToonBoom? naa comm'on that's a really.. really!!! bad a...

Re: where to start:
the best way to start, is by taking an animated scene of your choice, and just mimic it!
from the animations, to the timing and spacing to the colors and shades, mimic and copy and make it the best you can.
than the next time you about to do animation on your own, it will be much smoother.

Post Bugs/Features Here
It would be easier if a single thread will contain all bugs for the Linux version! Bugs: 1. Sometimes TVPaint's painting tool (free hand tool) starts to draw not from the middle of the cross mouse pointer, but from the bottom part of the cross pointer, which results in annoying painting solution, an...

Re: Export PSD
PSD Can contain Layers, Objects, and folders (without or without FX)..etc
It is not a files package container (for example like .zip or .rar files).
therefor your client is confused or is unaware of the PSD format.
It's best to send your client a .zip or .rar containing all the project files.

Re: Core i5 or i7
For most of the parts, the main "big" difference is the Cache memory that the CPUs hold inside of them. The lower the cache the 'slower' it gets, since it doesn't have a lot of accessed frequent memory data. Now, clock speeds are also an important by it self, but now days, the new i5/7 tec...

TVPaint is awesome!
Hey all, I just moved to ubuntu last week (After terrible hacks on my windows machine) and my first broken heart was that I couldn't use TVPPaint. But how surprised was I that I found out that you guys released a Linux version! I was happy again that I could play and animate on this awesome sotware!...
