Thanks you, I will look into. I am very red faced now because I never looked at the panel controls. That is going to have to be part of my mantra. Yes I am Mac and thanks for the help. The keyboard command for rotate dose a poor job of it. The canvas jump a good 45 degrees. Oh well.

This was the only command combination that did what I wonted. Alt/Option Left mouse button.
