I have had this happen on all my files on several computers. Not a solution, but a quick little workaround trick: if you extend length of your animation to beyond the length of the audio, it should play more or all of it (like make a new layer with a loooong blank frame or something).

I just found a way around!
So weird, but layouts 1, 3 and 4 all have this problem, but 2 doesn't!

Oh never mind! I worked it out.
It turned out to be the green and red in and out points set on the timeline (fixed it by right clicking and moving the points along.)
