Sad to say I have pretty much given up on the 'animatic' feature. I now just export the stills and edit them in Sony Vegas. It is way quicker with that work flow.
Hopefully in the future this aspect of TVP can be enhanced.

Re: Keyframer set pivot point by Click And drag
Yes I got that. But it makes it very hard to keep the object exactly in it's original position if I have to move it to the pivot point and then back again. This is a pretty basic task in every other animtion software.

Re: Keyframer set pivot point by Click And drag
Damn. I was just trying to change the pivot in the keyframer in order to shrink an eye over time but it needs to stay in place. ....and TVP can not do this???? Well. I'm glad to have found this post. It saved me some time messing around. I guess I'll have to do this in some other app. PLEASE put thi...

Re: Urgent! - Unable to import audio
I can't confirm at the moment. I've just re-formatted my system again (And lost all my brushes because I forgot to back them up - bah)
Could this be a 64bit issue? I don't remember having it on my 32bit TVP?

Re: Animatic Requests.
The Camera. It's a tricky thing to describe and maybe that is the problem. What I would like is a more fully featured camera tool so I can more easily put multiple key camera positions into a clip and in time within that clip. I just find the current tool a bit limiting or slow to use. Editing Durat...

Animatic Requests.
Here are a couple of things that slow me down and drive me mad when making an animatic: Camera. Only being able to have 1 move per scene is very limiting. I would love to have more as I am finding that a surprising number of my projects need multiple moves over the same board frame. Editing the scen...

Re: Urgent! - Unable to import audio
AH. That didn't seem to fully clear up the problem, though I can seem to import MP3 versions of my tracks now.
Any idea why the WAV's might not be working in TVP? I can open them in After Effects, Sound forge, winamp and Sony Vegas?

Urgent! - Unable to import audio
Aaaaaaagh! I've recently upgraded to winfdows 7 64bit and Installed TVP Pro 10. I am in the niddle of doing an animatic and now it seems like TVP doesn't recognise any audio. I initially thought it was the clients wav file but that open fine in sound forge. Changing the sample rate doesn't help and ...

Re: B's adventures in TVPaint
No need to feel self concious. It's a big first step and more than I have done. I usually use TVP for baords and roughs but then 'artwork' in vectors: Xara, or Anime Studio. I'm currently going out of my way not to do any drawn animation at all as my current project will be in after effects. So. a c...

Re: B's adventures in TVPaint
Yes. I did. In all probability I just needed a better line/stronger pen tool. I was just experimenting with a bitmap Illustration style rather than my current vector approach. No problem really, I'm just curious how other people approach it

Re: B's adventures in TVPaint
Nice. I like the style. How did you animate with the flat colours. Draw a self coloured outline and fill it? This may sound like a daft question but when I tried this method I found it difficult to get a fill to the edges. Either I got some semi transparent gaps that only showed up on the back groun...
