Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Has anyone had a problem updating to 11? The last version I updated to was 10.5.7 and when I enter my credentials, 10.5.7 is the only choice I'm given for download.
Any ideas?

FullSecs Animation Challenge
animade.tv introduced a challenge called http://fullsecs.com/ where you're given exactly one second to animate whatever you want. The only requirements are to have a 2 second title card and 2 second end slate. Your animation can not involve the title and end slate. They want you to submit the animat...

Squishy and the Fat man
This is a fun little animation using the ol' paper and disc method I used tvPaint to shoot and edit the images using an HD Webcam and a pretty janky set up.

Re: CelAction2D<->TVP
Ah, finally somebody is impressed! Thx! Seriously, if you look closely the whole clip consists of 80% holds. Example: I spent a day to animate the moving dotted lines and figure out how to mask them, then placed them everywhere - another minute done. The only real animation is the main guy walking ...

Re: CelAction2D<->TVP
Ben: Anime Studio handles big bitmaps as well as Quicktime files remarkably well. Have a look at my website http://www.enigmation.de to see some examples of that. I did several scenes in HDTV (1920 x 1080) which used multiple bitmaps in the range of 6000 x 6000 px without any problem, delay, or gli...

Re: Asus ep 121 Tablet PC
Also, looking back at the earlier part of the post, I've changed how I carry the ep121 and the dongle. I got rid of the folio that comes with the Asus. Mainly because I tried altering it one to many times and it fell apart. So I picked up a Day Planner for 10 dollars at Target, ripped out some of th...

Re: Asus ep 121 Tablet PC
I'll be adopting the Samsung Galaxy Tablet as well to replace my first gen Ipad. The fact that I can have sketchbook and tvpaint is the driving factor because the first gen Ipad still runs great as a consumption tablet. I'll use it alongside my ep121 though it cracks me up a little that the samsung ...

Re: Hello all! I'm new here, and feeling rather helpless ^^;
That's a good point. There could be a startup screen with that option. Or a box that pops up on startup that you could disable. Maybe something that has videos to say Intro to tv paint, Bouncing ball exercise, Pen pencil and brush essential, etc

In my opinion there's nothing wrong with the interface at all it's actually fairly simple and intuitive

And the manual is laid out well and not overly technical. So open it up and search for keywords like, "New Frame" or "Frame" etc.
