Altough the manual (v10) states TVP is compatible with WDM. Later I found this is only true for input. WDM is exluded for output.(why!?) This feature is very usefull when you are working on a lot of layers. It will help you to determine if you are working on the right layer.

In itself it's not so much of a problem. As an animater one is used to wait for computers to finnish some rendering. Yet doing this over and over again, every time as TVP is restarted ...
So therefore my request to store these thumbs.

I have needed this feature a lot something when Im doinf storyboard. the content of the "Dialog" input text will be rendered ontop of my animatic as subtitles. Following the camera movement. is this an existing feature? How would I make this work, Or do I have to write some george script ...

I believe that doesn't realy solve the problem. I switched to system requester, but ended up with no requester at all. so for now I cannot test that any further. Have to look into that. Hi,

I'm on windows 8.1 TVP x64.
The thumbnails are gone every time I restart TVPaint. (this has been so ever since)
Of course the thumbnails for the TVPP projects remain, but not from the other files like .jpg .psd etc.
I'm referring to the TVP native open file requester.

It would be great if the Thumnails in the filerequester could be kept over a longer period of time.
Now every time when I quit TVP I have to regenerate the thumbnails, which sometimes is time consuming.

Maybe, it's an idea to keep them for at least one month or so.

I would like to playback my work on the decklink 4k. HD output would be fine for previewing.
It doesn't show up in the videooutput device.
