Wow. I remember that thread from cgtalk - didn't know it got aced though. Sad. All these back and forth guerrilla bomb tactics can't be benificial to either company, but what can you do I guess. The truth has to be put out to the public. I've done my fair share of TVpaint promotion on other forums a...

Lemec I'm curious, what other forums has Bahaus tried to muscle in the censorship of registered users outside of the Bauhaus site???? I think this is tremendously riddiculous on Bauhaus's side and a liability on their integrity (if they have any). People have the right to choose and voice their own ...

Volumetric Lighting

I'm still very excited about the potential of this software - let it be known :) . I am curious about one feature that mirage has that TVpaint does not (to my knowledge). Is there is a way to create volumetric lighting effects? It's not something that is of major importance, but the feature is damn ...

Agree with Tantalus. Still art Great. Music chosen for clip very bad. It does put me in the mind frame of a music video or game of some sort.

I just purchased TVPaint a few weeks ago. Will I have to, now, pay for this upgrade? This program was not cheap in the first place.

I hope you wouldn't have to. Most companies give free upgrades if the previous version was purchased 3 months prior the new release.

If it is anything like the Blue pencil case tool/panel from mirage you can use them all on one layer. The various colors can be deleted or put back using the panel all on one image layer.

The best way to use these tools imo are by using the blue or reds to very very quickly rough out ideas and accents and then smooth out the lines or flesh out the accents. Way back when, blue lines were used cause the didn't reproduce when copied so artist felt free to draw over them with out worry a...

Re: Anything Like Painter's Image Hose Available in TVPaint?

I've really become addicted to using the image hose in Painter, for years, now. I've seen some TVPaint custom brushes that use a similar "stamping" technique, but can you create a custom brush that allows you to scale and orient the stamps in a similar manner to Painter's image hose? (i.e...

wow , good work ! I thought about something else : Some drawing mode are available with the common tools : (tint, colorize, saturate, add, etc ...). they can be used with papers and help you to colorize your paintings. That is not my work, though I wish it were :( :D . I was just post...

Thanks for the responses. After playing around with demo some more, I figured out what I wanted to do. I was looking to blend skin values together i.e shadows, fading into other areas without a distinct line. I included an attachment to show the look I was going for (look at the facial area). I adju...

Blending brushes

Is there any way to create blending brushes in TVPaint. How would you blend to colors together smoothly. I know this sounds like an amatuer question, but I am curious. Any links or ideas would be cool. Thanks in advance.
