This happened to me too. I used to have another short cut on "M" so I pressed it and the whole scene turned black so I have to close TVpaint to get back to normal view.

Another observation regarding how the interface is saved. As mentioned earlier if I put the color panel to the right of the canvas it was gone when restart TVpaint. I really looked everywhere. You expect it would be at the same spot where you left it. odd. I found that you could reset panel position in the refence-settings. That will be "rescue" when it dissappear next time. Would be good to have that panel reset button in a meny to have quicker acces...

I got it back by resetting the config-file in the prefs.
But when I moved the colorpanel to the right of the canvas and restarted the color Panel was gone and no where to find.
Is this a bug?

On Windows, it is in the General tab of the Preferences panel in TVPaint 11 and in the Drawing section of the Preferences in TVPaint 12. I found it, YOu had to choose the wintab option to get that subpixel option. The line is now fine but I can right-click to get that meny up. Will that be changed ...

Hello, settings the drawing mode to Wintab and ticking the Subpixel option in the TVPaint Preferences should mitigate the issue. It should also be completely fixed by the upcoming 12.0.3 patch. Looking so much to be able to use the pen as wintab and being able to use the right-click option. I can´t...

When you use a stencil and have a lighter color on the stencil layer and add a darker on another layer there will be an edge visible on the edge.
Is there a way to avoid that.

I think I did choose the wrong word, sorry. Not the equipment.
I mean the interface in TVpaint. to just have the tools you need for animation. Hide tools etc to make it eaier to focus on animation.
Should you use a "room"?

If you want to create a clean workspace focusing on the animation using pencil and lighttable, which is the best way to create such?
Or is it only there are a view option?

Strange.

At first when it did not work the Alpha was set to "Guess". I thought TVpaint would see the ttransparency but it did not. So I had to set it to "PreMultiply".
