Re: A simple camera move. How??
Hello Mikdog, now you know why a rework of the default 2D camera was long overdue  Yep. I got my TVP license last year (after humming and haa'ing about it for years) and unluckily missed out on the new upgrade. The new default 2D camera does look better, yes. Version 12 camera tool is definite...

Re: TVP 12 Suggestions & Request
Select Copy Paste Into Instance Simply selection part of a an image and pasting it into another without making a new frame. This would be a good feature , but in the meantime you can Select and Copy to Brush . You could select part of an image on a previous (or following) frame , then Copy to Brush...

[*]Flipping stylus should now return to the current tool.[/list] Flipping stylus is not working for me. In Preferences > Drawing I have it set to "The pen eraser is a freehand eraser". I draw a stroke with the pen end of the stylus , then flip over the stylus to the eraser end to erase , ...

Re: update scanned images
Thank you very much for all the info. The scanning doesn’t work in windows as well. I don’t mind scanning in vuescan and then importing from a file. It would be a nice addition if I could select an instance in the timeline and have the imported image overwrite that frame . However, your suggested w...

Re: import images and copy layer timing
I am doing a lot to my initial drawings on paper. It would be nice to be able to select an instance in the timeline and import a image/images from a folder to replace the existing images directly. Keeping the timing of the initial drawings/instance would be great . +1 . That would be a very useful ...

Re: [TVP12] Folder opacity On invidual layers / Restriction image&sound Starts on Clip
the underlying question in the other thread, which is that this seems less useful and counter-intuitive in how different this operates from a folder opacity control in other programs. I t seems on the face of it that folder opacity functioning as other art programs do would be more useful overall. ...

Re: ICA (Scanner) not working on MacOS
Hello David, The ICA option has been removed on TVPaint Animation 12 (all OS). Your issue is probably on TVPaint Animation 11 due to some drivers compatibility between the scanner and TVPaint. Yes, I was referring to TVPaint 11.7.3 . I just noticed the ICA option was removed from TVPaint 12. Is it ...

ICA (Scanner) not working on MacOS
This is an old , old issue, but with the advent of a new version of TVPaint (v12) it seems like it is worth bringing to the attention of the Development Team: I can not use my scanner to scan directly into TVPaint, using File menu > ICA . TVPaint detects my scanner (Brother MFC-6490CW) , but when th...

VIDEO INPUT Bug - Append Value not accurate on first captured frame
BUG REPORT: There is a bug in TVPaint VIDEO INPUT panel. When the first image is captured, if VIDEO INPUT is set to Append = 2 (frames) or Append = 3 , Append = 4 , etc. it will only expose the first captured image to be exposed for 1 frame on the Timeline instead of the desired setting . After the ...

Re: update scanned images
With a webcam is it possible in TVPaint to be on a frame and capture a new image to replace/update. Yes, if you are capturing images with a webcam it is possible to do that , as long as the webcam position (and lights) on the downshooter do not change and the peg bar position doesn't change. (*Wors...

Re: 3 dots take up too much space
To move the timeline up or down you must click and drag on the three dots.
That is a mystery to me. It does seem like they take up large amount of space on the interface.

Re: It is no longer possible to post embedded IMAGES on the forum
It seems to be fixed now. I have no explanation for why it happened , all I know is that for a day or so it became impossible to upload and embed images directly on the TVPaint forum. Uploading an image generated the error message that I showed in the screen capture above. I'll mark this one as fixe...
