Imported footage glitchy
Hi friends,This is confusing. So when I import footage (.mov file) into a new layer or from the file drop down menu,TVP brings my fames into a new layer but it's often jumbled. In other words, the frames are sometimes in order, and sometimes not. On the same scene. Not sure how to fully explain this...

Re: Is there any way to recompute a layer on twos or more?
Just stumbled across this. Yes it would be great to have that magic button. I come across this a lot. It'd be nice to batch a bunch of frames.

Re: Adjusting clips in timeline view
Okay. Not seeing .edl as one of my choices for export. Where do I find that? I'm running Pro 10. Aha! After experimenting, I see if I export as a .mov file but "split scenes" in the dialogue box, it'll give me several .mov files all numbered in order. I can import all of those into Premier...

Re: Adjusting clips in timeline view
Oh wait. That won't work. Since it won't come back with all the layers that it originally had. Still I could adjust the time in Premier and emulate that back in TVPaint so it's still a good way to go. Thanks!

Re: Adjusting clips in timeline view
Merci Elodie,
That's a good work around. Is it then possible to reimport that Premier file back into TVPaint as clips with the corrected timing?

Adjusting clips in timeline view
Is there a way to adjust clips in the timeline view that don't effect the entire duration of the scene? Say I have nine clips in a scene and I want to slide clips 4 and 5 to adjust their timing but I don't want to effect the duration of the entire rest of the clip? Something akin to the Adobe Premie...

Re: Sound not loading completely on render
Hey thanks for your input I greatly appreciate not feeling alone with this aberration. Normally I do load a soundtrack and animate to it. Then output it as a .mov file. For some unknown reason this time the sound is always shorter than the clip. My work around is to just render a hundred frames past...

Re: Sound not loading completely on render
Extending a layer past where I want to end is a work around. But it's not predictable. I never know where the sound will end. Something is not working right. That solution means I have to bring it into another editing program to change it and then re-render. I've tried it now 32 different times with...

Re: Sound not loading completely on render
Updated software and still not working. Sound always ends early. It must be in the renderer somehow but I don't know what to look for. My sound and my settings are all set to 48khz. What the hell?

Re: Sound not loading completely on render
Yes I'm working from a clip in the timeline and my track spanning the entire timeline, though I am only rendering as far as I've animated. I did notice that the master sound only loads as far as the last frame so I extended it well past what I want to render. It seems that the sound is about 9/10s o...

Sound not loading completely on render
Hi all, I'm having a problem with the sound loading completely on a render. It works fine scrubbing in the program. It plays fine in the program. I have re-rendered the sound files (mp3) several times from scratch and reloaded them back into TVPaint. When I render my clip either to .mov or mp4 the s...

TV Paint Crashes while rendering
Hi TV Painters, I'm running a mac pro with TV paint Pro 10.5.2 64 bits and when I export a quicktime file in medium or below resolution, at about the halfway point TVP crashes. I can send you the code generated if you like, there's a lot of it. If a render at higher resolutions works, it doesn't hav...

Re: strange white bar
Thank you David! For my first trick, I am animating into that image. It's the logo for a project I'm working on called Salon Artastique. I'll send you the link when it's complete which should be in a couple of days. Look for my next question on the forum which will be about masking and unmasking. I ...

strange white bar
Hi Friends, I seem to be getting this strange white bar horizontally across my drawing area. It has a cute pink stripe vertically and while all that is nice, it is taking up real estate that I would like to have for drawing. It all goes away when I hit play, but comes back when I'm back in drawing m...
