Re: My TVPaint feature requests
Hello Nagarjuna! Thanks for the feedback! 1. A singular box asking for the FILE NAME and LOCATION before the export settings would be amazing and more efficient. I export multiple clips individually and changing the file name from the current box seems a little inefficient. I agree that the current ...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 changelogs (latest update 2025_03_26)
Hello everyone, We have released TVPaint Animation 11.7.5. We've decided to implement some fixes and improvements that have been made in v12 that v11 users could definitely benefit from before they can upgrade to v12. Also, please note that unless some major issue is found, this should be the final ...

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?
Did... did you just post the exact same message as you did in July? Why? Some items on your list are actively being worked on and as a beta tester you should see some of them very soon for 12.0.4. All requests won't be coming in the short term. In the meantime please refrain from posting the duplica...

Yes, we did change the requirements for v12: 8Gb ram is the now the minimum required (v11 was 4Gb), and we recommand 16Gb or higher.

Re: [TVPaint12] DLL Plugins don't works
Hello Ben, After your last message we looked deeper in the code because we were surprised that the solution Eric proposed didn't work, because it did work for the guys that created PyTVPaint. We found out that there was one specific bug that was causing a crash when trying to open a window (which wa...

Re: License Issue awaking from sleep TVP12 MacM4
Hi, Just to tell you that we are aware of this issue, which happens when leaving sleep mode on a Mac. We've been unable to make it happen on our side so far. The license isn't deactivated, it's just that when leaving sleep mode, I suspect that the software is too fast to request if the license is va...

Can you update to v12.0.2? We've fixed a lot of crashes on macOS on this version.

Re: Documentation for all george commands
Indeed!
I've changed the URL to both v11 & v12 documentation.
We're in the process of updating the doc for George commands in the v12 doc, this should be ready when 12.0.3 releases in (hopefully) January.

Re: timeline position lock
We have something planned (and already done in internal builds) for v12.0.3 regarding the empty spaces in the Timeline and its Lock button, to make it so it's almost like it was in v11.
Beta testers should see it hopefully by the end of the week

Re: TVP11 and Mac M4
Well, for starters, TVPaint does not use the GPU, only CPU & RAM.
What dimensions are your project? On higher dimensions, CTG calculations can take longer.

Re: TVP11 and Mac M4
Hey,
Obviously we cannot say it will work because these new macs are not even out yet.
But the work we've done for v11.7.4 and 12.0.2 should be good for these new Macs as well. I'll update both changelogs so it is explained better.
