Re: can't hear audio - SOLVED!
Yes, that was it. Solved. Thanks Paul!!!!! For future reference, I somehow did not see this speaker icon and just paid attention to the other speaker icons in the sound track area. The icon I missed is at the bottom of the project window where we view our work. There is the speaker icon at the left ...

can't hear audio
I imported 3 .wav files on 3 different audio tracks. When I export the scene as a QT movie I can hear the audio in the QT, just as expected.
But I don't hear it during playback or scrubbing in TVpaint. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

auto save thoughts
I love that TVPaint has an auto save option. I have a suggestion for adding a preference which would allow us to customize the way files are saved a bit more. Currently if I set MultiBackup to 5 for example and I create a project with the name A I will eventually get 5 auto saved files with the name...

Re: 10 fps -> 24 fps
Thanks guys. I found that un-ticking "stretch to frame rate" in the export panel did the trick.
I tried this at work using Linux.

Re: 10 fps -> 24 fps
Thanks, but that is the method I used when I encountered the problem. Maybe there is something I don't understand, so I took a screengrab where you can see the settings in the timeline (8 fps this time) and the export window. The resulting clip plays 3 times faster than intended.

10 fps -> 24 fps
My project frame rate is 24 fps. To see some ideas quickly I'm currently playing what I have at 10 fps. When I export a QT it exports 24 fps. If I play the clip in the QT player it's 2.4 times faster than what I want. Is there a way to convert the speed during export so that the clip shows my action...

How is saving a room different or similar to saving the configuration? Could it servee the same purpose?

I would love "Save/Load Configuration" buttons under the file menu.

how to get this look
I suspect this was done in Photoshop and I've seen this kind of outside texture/inside opaque look lots of times. test2.jpg How would I achieve this in TVP? Papers are great for texture, but it creates texture also on the inside. If I use an oil brush with light turned of and a paper selected I can ...
