It has been implemented a long time ago. It is a fantastic feature that I use often.

Re: Paul Schwarz
I gotta tell you all, Paul Schwarz is working for me for four months on a secret project, to be announced soon.
Paul is an incredible animator. Really really good. Very subtle acting and technical superior skills.
I just wanted to mention that here. Out of enthusiasm.

Re: 23,976 fps - 24 fps
Thanks a lot David!
I think the PNG (or tiff) image sequence is the solution.
I should have thought of that (but there's so many things now to think about that my head will explode soon).

23,976 fps - 24 fps
Hi, I´m having a problem. I'm working with video source material that is shot on 23,976 frames per second. It does import in tvpaint fine (I counted the frames), but when I export it, I can only choose 24 fps. That means that I loose 1 frame every 4 seconds (or am I wrong?) This means that the anima...

Re: PreLoading Audio Files and Other Audio Issues
Good idea.
Yes, if several people have trouble finding out, it might be good to change it.

Re: PreLoading Audio Files and Other Audio Issues
Yes, 'Project > Dependencies > Save dependencies In The Project' seems to be the solution (not 100% sure yet). Thanks Michael. I wonder why it's not 'on' as default. Why would someone not want to save a project with all of it's elements, when those elements have been imported using the "preload...

Re: PreLoading Audio Files and Other Audio Issues
Hi, I have the same problem. Tvpaint project that I send to other animtors doesn't include the soundfile anymore. So my solution would be to export the audio file from tvpaint as a wav file and send it to them. But this seems to be impossible. Any suggestions?

Re: Junkyard and TVPAINT on artguides.org
Hey Sewie (Michael), as you can see, the advantage of alpha diff is that it doesn't "dry", so no overlappping areas (as you would get with feltmarkers). That's how I did all the shadows for Junkyard, because I could fliup in between drawings and paint on them, without getting weird overlap...

Junkyard and TVPAINT on artguides.org
I think that this article on artguides.org used a lot of the text of the interview that Elodie did with me. But that doesn't matter too much, it is good advertising for tvpaint, I think. And for me too. http://www.artguides.org/Animation/junkyard-tvpaint-hisko-hulsing-live-action-digital-2d-animatio...

Thanks!
Junkyard premiered in Annecy and will now be screened in competition in Ottawa and many more filmfestivals.
It will be the Dutch entry for the Oscars.

Re: multiply layer
One more thing: I did the shadowpainting of the characters in one layer (as opposed to the sample, which was too laborious), and just skipped between drawings to make sure it wasn´t too wobbly. One last thing: Don´t do this at home!! It took years of my life and now people write that I used 3d softw...
