Re: Icons have disappeared

Thanks Soom! I did need to clean the registry, but now it's all back to normal again after reinstalling it. I have no idea why it happened. Happy now though! :D

Icons have disappeared

Hello there, Me again I feel that I've been pretty unlucky recently with TV paint. My new bug is now affecting my icons on the right hand side of the interface. I have since restarted my computer several times, hoping it would fix the issue. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about. It already st...

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Thank you ZigOtto and Elodie, for trying to help but it was a bug in that particular project. After copying all the animation layers over to a new project and loading the sounds again. It is all working fine. :D

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

I have just tried that now, but no change.

How would you normally delete a sound track?

I am starting to think , maybe my initial version of the software that came on the DVD was buggy and has kept the bugs, even after upgrading?

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Thanks, but all I have done is load the sounds in. My first loaded sound was bad, so I loaded another better version of the audio. Now six attempts later. They are now all playing in the master layer at the same time, but I can't see anywhere an option to clear the audio. Deleting all audio files fr...

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Hi Elodie, I am on the newest version now, thank you. I think I can see what is happening with the audio, but it is very strange. It is somehow layering each track that I have imported in the master channel. the track is 20secs long. So now I might have 6 tracks all layered im the master channel, bu...

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Still having a problem with the sound quality. I have the preview settings on render background proxy and quality at 100%. Nothing else is selected and flipbook at 1.00s. I have tried selecting the force proxy, but it does not do anything to the sound.

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

The path file is just an example. I will normal import a jpeg sequence wait for it to load and then load the sound as a wav. But really my main problem here is the time it takes TVPaint to find the network, as previously mentioned, all other applications work fine, it is only TVpaint that takes for ...

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Hi Fabrice, The computer is fast enough to handle the project. Two: Intel XEON E5530 @2.4GHz processors 12 gb of ram The network issue only happens with TVPaint, if I open Photoshop or any other application, they all find the path instantly only TV paint takes a long time to find it. I am not quite ...

Re: Very long to find network, for saving, importing anythin

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply , but I have matched the sample rate to the audio imported.

Maybe the initial software DVD I installed was corrupt. Because no one else seems to have this problem.
But there is a first time for everything.

Very long to find network, for saving, importing anything!

Hi there! I have had this issue for a long time now, but as I am using TV paint more it is becoming very frustrating. If I go to "save project as" or want to import footage or audio or anything that requires going on to the network to find a specific drive it takes TVPaint at least 1-2 min...
