Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Thanks good to know, so I assume there will be a minor point update in time to address some issues? (like a version 11.02?). As for what caused the crash, I'm not sure in my case, I was just working on a simple pencil test, went to change a hotkey and then had the lockup, sorry I can't be more speci...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Anyone else finding this version crashing? I've had 2nd crash in a few days just now, I don't think I remember having a crash in 10.5.
Today I was simply in the Hotkey menu adding a new hotkey when I got a lockup and had to force quit. Windows 7 here if that's relevant.

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
I guess the answer is unfortunately NO. If you like you can trude through this thread to find out why. Thanks for that, I didn't read through the entire thread but I got the idea :) I've downloaded and installed the 32bit version as a workaround, for now most of the things I'm working on in TVP are...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Is there any hope we might see Quicktime export supported in 64 bit TV Paint on Windows at some stage? I see the warning that it's not supported in a 64 bit program, but I have After Effects, Maya and C4D here and all of those are 64 bit and export to Quicktime just fine. It's really handy for savin...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
^ I've wondered this too about pinning the warp tool. It would be really convenient if the pins would hold as you go from instance to instance instead of having to re-lock them again each time. I also find it a bit fiddly to lock them if I hold Shift and drag a selection over them and then choose Lo...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Oh one thing that would be nice too with the new Warp tool - it could be cool if you could have it restricted to just the current selection instead of the entire image sometimes.

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
Trying out the demo of the new version now, looks great! Really like the new UI. Will there be an option to install an offline version of the Help? The machine I work on is not connected usually (I like to work in peace!) and it can be a hassle switching to a different machine every time you want to...

Re: Reload Image Sequences?
Hi, many thanks for sharing the panel and your detailed explanation. I'm making a note of your comments here and will test out the panel on my own project tomorrow to see how I can use it. I think it will be very useful for me, hopefully for others too.
Thanks again,

Brian

Re: Reload Image Sequences?
^ Possibly? Windows 7 here. If I try the trick of adding a blank layer and then deleting it to refresh the sequence, it does work when scrubbing. But when you play the clip the 'old' frame 1 still shows, while the rest of the sequence has been updated. If I offset the entire sequence so that it star...

Re: Reload Image Sequences?
Hey, many thanks for your detailed explanation, much appreciated. It clears up a lot of things for me. I had noticed that issue with the first frame not updating, didn't know it was a bug, hopefully they will fix that in time.
If you can share that panel that would be very cool

Brian

Reload Image Sequences?
Hi, possibly a silly question, but I've just upgraded to the Professional version of TVP on Friday so bear with me.. ;) I'm working on a project at the moment where the animation is being done in CG (Maya) and I have used TVPaint to make an animatic based on the storyboard. This worked great but wha...
