Re: cannot download TVPaint from account
This is not going to be very helpfull, but I think that since 2011 Tvpaint as changed its login and downloading system... there was an information email at some point, which asked users to reenter login informations and passwords ... You'll need to login from the home page ("my account") a...

Re: Zooming and rotating by dragging the stylus?
hello everyone I just can't make the CTRL+ALT+LMB screen rotation shortcut with the Stylus. IS there any setup needed ? Or a specific action to do with the stylus ? Note : - ALT+LMB do work for translation (LMB being actually just the stylus touching the screen, right ?) - CTRL+ALT+LMB did actually ...

Re: grey area on top of main panel
Sorry for the late thanking ! Just to clarifiy for other people who may have the same problem - on the top-right of note panel itself there is a menu to configure and display those notes over the drawing area - on the bottom right of the project/drawing area, to the right of the scale button, it can...

grey area on top of main panel
hello In one computer of our class room, the main panel of TVPaint 11 has a grey, inactive zone on top. It does not move with the image. I tried resetting the configuration, rebooting the mac (Mac sierra 10.12.16) any idea what it can be ? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Aa4cQpKRmwCHUmLSY1TrwoS8nf...

Re: Wacom Cintiq Pro 16
Is it possible to use the multitouch functions of the Cintiq16 in TvPaint ?
If not is there a plan to make it possible in the future ?

Re: clip duration and camera movement
Thanks a lot !
In my case, it would be shrinking (assuming this doesn't create hundreds of instances, but shrinks the few existing one proportionally)Thierry wrote: When the markout value is shorter than the original duration, it's trickier : should it cut the images or shrink ?

Re: instance handles disapears on long time range
Jerome, could you please post a screenshot then ? There are only 2 cases where tails and sprockets vanish, and David and I explained you what these cases are : • you zoomed out • you locked layers Hello Elodie, thank you for your answer. I am really sorry that I made myself unclear, and may be soun...

Re: instance handles disapears on long time range
This happens only when you lock a layer. Actually the layers are not locked. In the 2nd Gif that D.T. Nethery posted, you can see them disappearing. It's good in this case because each instance becomes too small to show handles. But if there was fewer, longer instances, they'd disappear too. Thanks...

Re: clip duration and camera movement
Thanks ! EDIT : actually it works when the new duration is longer, but not when it's shorter than original duration. (edited original message : But it doesn't work for me, or I didn't understood how to use it. I have downloaded the file and opened it in TVP via the Customs panels. Then I changed the...

Re: instance handles disapears on long time range
thanks, but that was not my question. When the time line is expanded, at some point the handles disappears. then I need to re-contract the time line, edit the instance length, expand again and so on... I wondered if there is a way to keep those handle even when the time line is expanded. But, well, ...

instance handles disapears on long time range
Hello everybody On 11.0.2 Pro/ Win64, it seems that the instance handles (tail and Sprocket seems to be their names) disappear when the time range becomes longer than around 220 images. That makes it a little bit annoying when timing long shots. Is it a feature, a bug or is there a parameter to setu...

Re: clip duration and camera movement
Thanks !
I just wanted to be sure I hadn't missed some useful tool.
A George script would be helpful and appreciated, but that is not that important - I mean, if that is a lot of work.
(BTW, I haven't checked George yet. That could be a good practical learning exercise !)

Re: a reference style manual (and japanese translation)
The issue with logic : it's quite subjective ! Most options don't make sense if you only explain what they do, without concrete and visual examples. Plus, some features can be used in different purposes, so what is logical for an animator won't be logical for a storyboard artist (for instance). May...

a reference style manual (and japanese translation)
hello everyone I understand how time consuming it is to write, update and translate a manual but, being in the middle of the learning process, I thought I should write some comments about it. - As a tutorial, the manual is great, pedagogic and progressive, well illustrated and pleasant to read. - Bu...
