Weird, maybe you could zip up the files in your brush bin and try and get them to a willing test subject, or TVP support to see if a file is corrupt or otherwise upsetting to TVPA ?

For Windows - run the installer and Instead of choosing uninstall, or modify - choose Repair from the options at the first screen you see. Then it will over write the main program files and not anything else. Also, Im fairly certain that even if you did uninstall TVP - your profile would still exist...
