Re: Help on my short film?
I believe that the solution to finding a story lies at the very core of a simple question every animator/author has to ask themselves first: why do I want to animate? I pose this question to all my students in the first hour of our first class and most students say something like, Because I like an...

Re: Help on my short film?
I don't get the point. You're not supposed to do a feature film, do you? So it's ging to be a short. Why so much writing before? If you can't tell the plot in two or three sentences, then it's not a story for a short. This may be just my personal taste, but I really prefer the film longer and fulle...

Re: Help on my short film?
Perhaps my last messege was too much. Bascially, does anyone have any advice on what I could do to flesh out the shop scene? Over the past night, I have come up with a small idea, but it still needs more work. My idea is that the focus of the film will be Alices difficulty getting hold of something ...

Help on my short film?
Hello, Hi everyone, and anyone who would like to help in any way. I am a 3rd year University Student on a degree at Westminster Uni (England). I'm retaking this last year, I failed it initially 2 years ago. There are several projects (such as a dissertation), for the main short film project, I am ru...

Hi. I'm sorry, what exactly is "the Gobelins"? An animation course perhaps?

Faux-fixe? I have seen it, but sorry I don't know what it is. I will look it up in the manual.

Sound through several Xsheet Projects?
Hi there, I was wondering if any one could help me? I'm afraid this has probably been answered somewhere else, but I did search, couldn't find it. I am going to be using TVpaint a lot more over the next year, so I will probably be asking lots of questions, I probably should start a thread about my p...

Re: Animated short "Seventeen" on piratebay.org
Excellent film Hisko! I mean really, really great, fantastic! I'm afraid I haven't actually read all of this thread, got up to about page 3. So none of this was done in TVPaint? CTP and Toonz? I've never heard of them :P I went to the CTP site and I wasn't impressed, but I guess it's a hidden gem or...

Hi,
I'm sorry, I know this is a really old post. How do I play back the .dip file and convert it to a video format which I can use? Like quicktime .mov?
Thanks for your time.

Re: Joining .mov files (exporting problem)
Thank you for the help!
Both methods work, but the second is best for me because it is less time consuming and the two TVP projects are very large (and my pc is old), so combining them into one project slows down things a lot.

Joining .mov files (exporting problem)
I've been making an animation with a friend of mine in TVPaint Animation. He's been drawing the frames on paper and I've been scanning and putting them into TVP, I'm never going to do it that way again, but for now I'll have to finish it that way. The project started getting rather large, it was tak...
