peg hole registering different batch scans Topic is solved

I need to scan paper drawings into TVP. If I scan each of the layers of my animation as separate batch scans, is there a way for me to make sure they are all peg-hole registered the same. Is there a way to do that?

Set Peg Holes Reg. to apply to All Layers or Selected Layers .

IMPORTANT: the scans all need to be the exact same size , so the peg holes are the same sizes on each scan ... so , for example, you can't mix and match 12 Field scans with 16 Field scans. Make sure the marquee value of your scanner software is set to scan each drawing at the same width and height and SAVE your scanner settings so each time you make a new set of scans they are being scanned at the same size .

I have found that it often has difficulty with more than two layers at a time, so here's how I do it:

Let's say you have 5 layers to be registered. Stacked in this order from top to bottom : 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

- Enable layer 1 and 2 , (disable others) Select both layers , set peg hole positions and reg. the peg holes on Selected Layers .

- Disable layer 1 , enable layer 2 and 3 . Repeat the procedure.

- Disable layer 2 , enable layer 3 and 4 . Repeat the procedure.

- Disable layer 3 , enable layer 4 and 5 . Repeat the procedure.

It tends to work better applied two layers at a time.
