FILE WON'T OPEN

Post by dashiestark »

Hey there so technically I was animating one day and my computer shut down and when I turned it back on to start animating again I opened the file up and it wouldn't load and would just crash my tvpaint 10 pro. Normally two files of the same work would come up but I only have one. Eventhough it comes up as a .tvpp file it won't work. Can anyone please help me like fox the file? <3
Thank you

Additional information is needed before anyone can help with your issue. At the head of this forum is this sticky topic:

Read me First before posting a Question
When you have an issue with TVPaint Animation, please, don't forget to include these precise important details :

• What is your OS and its version :

- Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite) 10.11 (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra), etc.
- Windows - Vista, 7, 8, 10 , etc...
- Linux Ubuntu 10.04+, Debian 6+, RedHat Enterprise Linux 5+, Fedora 15+

• What is your OS architecture (32 or 64 bit) + CPU type and amount of RAM.

• What is your software version (for example : TVPaint 10.0.16 , 10.5.7 , 11.0.0 , 11.0.6 etc...)

• What is your software edition (Standard or Professional)

• For the Professional Edition : What is the architecture (32 or 64 bit) ?

• What is your Wacom (or other brand) Tablet and drivers version ?

By the way, don't forget to repeat the details above EACH time you have an issue. We cannot remember the configuration of all our users
(to save time, you can include the information above in your signature.)

Moreover, don't forget that the more you will give us concrete examples with images or downloadable files, the faster we could answer you.

And finally, don't forget to say "Hello", especially when you post in the forum for the first time, we are not machines .

Hello,so technically I was animating one day and my computer shut down and when I turned it back on to start animating again I opened the file up and it wouldn't load and would just crash my tvpaint 10 pro. Normally two files of the same work would be created but I only have one left after the shutdown. Eventhough it comes up as a .tvpp file it won't work.

These are the computer details-
Edition- Windows 10 Home
Version- 1703
Processor- AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM- 8.00GB (7.19 GB usable)
System type- 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Software I am using-
TVPaint Animation 10 pro (32bits) (10.0.16)

Drawing Tablet-
Wacom Intuos pro Pen tablet medium.

I have attached two files that stopped working for me and I will be really happy and grateful if you fix them :) <3
Thank you

First step : download and use an up to date version : from the registered v10.0.16 you can update for free to v10.5.7 using this link : https://www.tvpaint.com/fr/update
Second step : open your files and let us know if you still have problems.
