$230 To turn my 7 page colored original comic book into a 1 minute action anime

Post by mheloky »

Hello,

I have an original comic book (at the link below) that I want turned into a short action anime. My budget is $230. Please feel free to email me at mheloky@gmail.com if you are interested.

Comic: http://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/in ... isode_no=1

Note: I would like the anime to at least look as good as the example in the link below

Obviously you have no idea of how much work animation actually is, and how much money the time of an artist is worth. I'd say 2.500 $ is the smallest amount any serious animator would call for this job.

$230 is insulting. 1 minute finished hand drawn animation would cost between $5000 and $15000 depending on quality.
Edit:
According to AnimPricer.com, a one-minute short full animation with medium detail and foley sounds would cost $3180 and take 6 weeks to complete.

As others have pointed out , there is no professional animator who would consider doing the job for that price. When your budget is that small, it's time to start learning how to do animation yourself . There are many free resources on the internet to learn animation. There are also more extensive tutorials you can purchase: I'd recommend Aaron Blaise's complete animation course - https://creatureartteacher.com/product/ ... on-course/

But Aaron also has many excellent FREE tutorials on his YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/AaronBlais ... n+tutorial+
AMB Animation Academy also has some good free animation tutorials - https://www.youtube.com/user/eubasaban/videos
Toniko Pantoja's animation tutorials are good , too : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRTRqk ... =animation+

Of course , those of us here on the TVPaint Forum would recommend using TVPaint software , but it's outside of your stated budget , so search for the different free, open-source programs available in the meantime . Good luck.

You can buy IphoneX for 1000usd or some nameless phone for 40usd. It's internet age. Some people will never afford 5000-15000 per minute. In my country there is no big need of quality in animation. I know many good animators/iliustrators who changed professions, because they couldn't find any suitable project. So basicly there is no frame by frame animation in Lithuania :D .. and we have up to 20 working profesionals:)...

My best income from animation was from ~250eur per 1min. project... but I made ~18min. in one month(flash animation).....
