Quickly swapping from Selection tool to last brush
Is there an easy way to quickly swap between the Magic Wand Selection tool and the last brush used? I can do it by clicking on the buttons, but it's a bit fiddly and I want to very quickly swap between the two, so a single key to go back and forth would be much quicker, if that's possible. I don't see any keyboard command for selecting either in preferences.

D is the shortcut to use the Stroke. For selections, you should be able to assign a shortcut to selection : wand, so you would just have to hit the right keys.

Great. Thank you. Is there a keyboard option to switch between layers up and down? That is, so I would select an area on one layer, hit a key to move up to the layer above, draw on it, hit a key to move back down to the layer below and then work on that and so on.

Up and down arrows?
Seriously, have a look into the Keyboard Shortcuts list, nearly everything you could wish for is already there.

Thanks. Yes, I do look, but sometimes I'm not clear on what to look for. I found it now.

There is some scripts in this panel that may help you : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9927
There is one shortcut for selection, unselection and going back to brush. Same for transform tools (it's modified scripts from svengali)
