There is a delay when drawing that I dont think was before. I have been using TVpaint for a while now and now I experience a drawing delay that is a bit too much.
I know w10 updated their pen setting
And maybe its better to get the new wacom pro with the pro pen 2.
Anyone had any experinence with this problem lately?
I use windows10
and TVpaint 11 standard.

Re: stroke delay with wacom pro
What's your tablet model ? You don't mention it.
There is an issue on Windows 10 -especially with Cintiq- on Wacom side, and they are currently fixing it.

Re: stroke delay with wacom pro
its wacom Pro medium
PTH-651
I have the latest driver installed.
In other software ( photoshop, Toonboom ) there is no delay but there are in TVpaint.
Its a delay in the way that I feel its not centered on my pen tip. I comes a bit behind when I draw. Dont remem ber it was so before.
I dont know if there is a setting I need to adjust in some way.

Did this issue arise with Window's Fall Creators update (the latest big one), Elodie? If so, for the rest of us, would it perhaps be better not to update for now...?

I'm not sure, but it sound like yes. If you don't have any issue, I don't advise you to update any way.Did this issue arise with Window's Fall Creators update (the latest big one), Elodie? If so, for the rest of us, would it perhaps be better not to update for now...?

Re: stroke delay with wacom pro
I did update with the bigger update in the end of 2017 if that is the Fall Creator you refer too.
Cant say if that effected the delay I mentioned.

That's good to know. Thanks fellas.
And you can roll back your Windows update if it gives problems, Hellofilms. I had to do that before with this same update because of startup problems.

Re: stroke delay with wacom pro
Yes I had some problems too.
But Now I think most of them is fixed , maybe besides this the the stroke ( if that is made by the update )
Some of my programs would not start, like photoshop, After Effects, toonboom Harmony and my guess was ( since this happened once before after an w10 update ) that w10 used a driver of its own for the graphic card. When I updated the cards own ( nvivia ) driver it worked again.
