Hi out there,
Is it possible to have two versions of tvpaint installed (10 and 11) using two dongles. One for each.
I'm normally working on 10 but need to work on 11 for a company I'm working for. So far I have downloaded the trial version of 11 but despite having the fitting dongle plugged in I am unable to save my work. Will I have to uninstall version 10 to make this work.
I hope someone out there can help me

Re: Two versions - two dongles
If you buy a v11 licence, your old dongle will continue to work, and there's no need to uninstall v10: it will still work.

One dongle will work for two different versions , v10 and v11 . You don't have to uninstall v10 , it will still run with v11 installed. You have to purchase a license for version 11 and get the registration codes from TVPaint . Contact them via the contact form:metteilene wrote: ↑10 Feb 2018, 12:30 Hi out there,

Re: Two versions - two dongles
I had the same situation in the past. Two dongles - one for version 10 and one for version 11. As long as you don't have both dongles plugged to the pc at the same time, it will work. My experience was, if you have both dongles plugged in it don't works, maybe because each version of TVPaint don't knows which dongle is the right one. So you have to unplug the dongle you don't need at that moment.
But it's not a problem to have 10 and 11 installed the same time. If they have the same license you onlky need one dongle for both. As Slowtiger and D. T. Nethery mentioned befor.
