This is exactly what I've been telling TVPaint to do with the warp grid. Except make it capable of handling an animbrush. The animation in this example looks a bit static and dead, as it's done with still images wiggling about. But imagine if you could do all of this warping while an animbrush was in motion. The possibilities would be endless. Better yet, a dynamic bones system that works with the animbrush and or warp grid... a... a...

This would really make the Warp tool so much more useful .
For my animation I usually prefer drawing everything frame by frame like traditional pencil on paper animation , BUT I can see using this for
adding motion to animatics and also for selectively using it to animate certain types of actions within a hand drawn scene.
