I'm getting so close to finishing my 5-minute epic!
I'm including imported video in my last shot, but want to feather the edges to blend it seamlessly into my drawn animation. I can think of lots of ways but don't know how to execute them in TVPaint. Eg: can I feather a freehand selection? Can I apply a brush-stroke to a whole bunch of selected instances at once?

Re: feathered edge
Of course. Just set the "smooth" range before drawing the selection (or use the magic wand). The nice thing is that you can add or subtract from a selection, and change this parameter each time.

Re: feathered edge
feather = Smooth
so you can set a smooth value in your selection tool.
apply to multiple frames = ENTER-key
enter reapplies the last action of any tool to the selected range of frames
