I am exporting my TVPaint file with JSON, format png. Usually, it works perfect, But with some shots, I get the note: "Can't open file." I have figured that there is apparently a problem with a certain layer. If I delete that layer, the export works. And if I export that layer as a png sequence, not as JSON, that works.
Is there anyone else who has experienced this problem?
I am looking at the layer and cannot see any faults. Blending modes are correct.
Hopefully, someone can help me with this.
Davor.
Problem with JSON export
Re: Problem with JSON export
Finally, we have figured out what causes this problem.
So to put it here, if somebody gets this problem.
The problem is in the layer name in TVPaint. When people accidentally press SPACE after the Layer Name, that causes the problem.

Re: Problem with JSON export
Thank you for posting the solution to the problem.
The awkward file name structure for the JSON export is definitely something that needs improvement. As it is now it is too confusing .
