I know it's not TVPaints policy to talk about upcoming updates, but after one and a half year without any info, something would be much appreciated.

I would love an update on this too. There has been complete silence on the future timeline of TVP updates, as well as further difficulty in using a dongle in a world of portability and USB-C.

I'm really happy to see there is a new version (so people still working on updates) and the fact that the standard version is finally available in 64bit is really great, but except from this the update really seems a bit disappointing if you consider that it took nearly two years (one year and ten month) to happen. I don't want to downplay the work of the developers and we all know that the company structure is surely struggling with a change, but this isn't that much for the time it took, espcecially compared to the updates before.
