Is it like a steady "clicking" sound ? I remember that issue was happening at one point ... it was fixed in one of the updates of version 11 ... I noticed in your signature line it says you are running TVPaint 11.0.3 . Current version is 11.0.8 . You should log into your account and update your software to 11.0.8. (it's a free update) .

Actually, I am on 10.0.8. Also running MAC system 10.14.6. I need to update my signature.
It's more random static than clicking and super irritating. Music plays fine in After Effects, itunes and Premiere. I've tried deleting it and reloading it without success.

I think I figured it out. I had loaded a .wav file exported from AE with makers. I finally figured out how to delete it, which took awhile, and reloaded a .m4a file of the same song without markers. No static! So maybe it had to do with the AE markers, which didn't show up in TVP anyway.
