best way to export a project

hello, I have some trouble exporting my animation. When i export it, the file ends up being very large (2.68 GB) and i need to get it down, but i don't know what are the best settings in order for the animation to keep the existing image quality and at the same time the file not being so large. I would appreciate your advice! Thank you!

It depends on what do you plan to do with it.

If you're planning to move into postprod, PNG or TIFF sequences are the best, you can use the .json exporter and import them on AE.

If you want to release a lo-res quicktime right out of tvpaint, going for .MOV compressed would be your best choice.
