Cineon or OpenEXR file format support

Post by mlmiller1983 »

Can TVP Animation Pro 8.5.7 import and export in the Cineon, DPX, or OpenEXR file format.?

EDIT: Also what is maximum RGB color bit depth TVP Animation Pro can handle(8 bit, 16 bit, or 32 bit)?

I ask these questions because my main other software programs I use are Eyeon Fusion 5 and Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended which support most(if not all) of these file formats and color depth.

TVP Animation Pro can import and export Cineon file, but only in 8 bits mode.

I got another one: What is the max color bit depth per channel TVPaint 8.5 Pro can do (8 , 16, or 32) and can it export work, in any file format, with 16bit or 32bit floating-point image files. Thanks!!!

My understanding is that TV paint is fundamentally 8 bits ber channel, and that increasing the channel depth would reduce the responsiveness of the software.
