Hello!
I am trying to learn how to stencil on one layer while leaving the drawing layer intact. I have some difficulty doing this. Can someone help me with this for TVPaint 9.5 Standard Version for Mac? I am using a late-2009 27-in. iMac with 16 GB of RAM, 2.8 GHz Core i7 processor, and Radeon 4850 HD GPU with 512 MB of RAM. I am studying a course in animation and this is one of the lessons, and I am having difficulty grasping it. Thanks much!
Stenciling Between Different Layers… Topic is solved
Re: Stenciling Between Different Layers…
It's quite simple: turn on the mask in the layer which should mask the other one, go to the layer you want to draw in and draw. You'll be able to draw in all areas which have pixels in the mask layer. Invert the mask when needed.
