Title. I really like the border only option, but was wondering if an option for an aliased border can exist as well

Re: Aliased border option in FX Panel
if you make sure the original shape has AA, then the Border FX will also give you AA on the inside of the line when you Border-only.
but in case if you haven't... it can be fixed,

Re: Aliased border option in FX Panel
Thank you! I appreciate the help, but would like to clarify further. Since I work and submit work mostly with Aliased shapes (not AA), having the border FX automate some of the process would be really helpful. I would like the Border FX to have the option to result in the left.

consequently, I looked for a Sharpen feature in the forums to pair up with the Border FX and stumbled across Sewie's histogram settings. This is what I'm going to go forward with DD I learn something new every time I get on these forums, thanks Sewie!

Re: Aliased border option in FX Panel
Mostly for work. The studio collaborates with overseas studios, and the sequences we get are 99.9% aliased animation (the Anti-aliasing happens in After Effects). I do retake animation so I try to work with how their animations are set up in TVP before reimporting the new takes into After Effects.Peter Wassink wrote: ↑02 Mar 2021, 02:48 Ah sorry i misread...
