Eraser doesn't remember texture setting anymoreo

In the previous versions of TVPaint the Eraser tip of the Pen used to remember exactly the Eraser I want.
In the new update it does that too, but it doesn't remember the texture setting. So if I draw with a textured brush and then flip the Pen to erase, it still erases with the texture on. This should not be like that. The eraser should remember exactly all the settings including texture setting. thanks.

I was confused at first too. And before I could set my own Eraser-Tool, now I can only modify the default eraser.

thanks, but that doesn't help - I have this setting ON already. It just "forgets" to turn the texture off...
also I am on Mac - I will check if it's the same on Windows actually

Yea, maybe this is a problem of the MacOS version. I set this freehand setting (confusing name, if you consider the freehand tool and that the other eraser is as freehand as this one), than needed to restart to make it work, set the settings on the eraser, which keeped the same after restarting TVPaint.

I've just tested it on Windows - same problem

Try this :
- uncheck both "freehand eraser" and "same brush set to erase mode"
- restart TVPaint
- then set the tip of your pen to eraser, and configure it like you want.

But you're right, it's possible that I missed a part while backuping the tool

Thanks Xavier! it worked! Funny - disabling both functions didn't pop into my mind. So basically it's like having 3 options, not 2

In any case I made a quick addition that may help in the code, you'll see in the v11.5.2 if your eraser is restored properly !

In any case I made a quick addition that may help in the code, you'll see in the v11.5.2 if your eraser is restored properly !

Just one little problem with this workaround - after a restart TVPaint doesn't remember the Eraser brush, so I need to select again (just once per session).
