If you import a movie into tv paint and clear the "Pre Load" option, the move is referenced into the tv paint file.
If you update the movie, the first frame of the old version is displayed in TV Paint. The other frames are fine, but the ff is the old movie.
Is there a way to clear that cache? Is this a bug?

non-preloaded movie caches first frame
Re: non-preloaded movie caches first frame
Not a bug, the application is written this way : the first frame of the referenced video is really copied into the project.
Re: non-preloaded movie caches first frame
Is there a way to turn that off? Copying the first frame in the project means the initial display is wrong when the movie changes. It also means the first frame will always be locked to the initial import, not the movie being referenced.

Yeah it always bothered me too
Only way to work with a seq/video not embeded is to adapt your pipeline and export a blank frame on frame 1 and put the Mark In in tvp on frame 1 so your "first frame" is actually a "second frame"
