Unfortunately I had to put Party Time on hold after accepting to work on projects that actually help me pay the bills.
The footage on my gumroad page is all that exists right now and I already have a tight schedule for the upcoming 6 months so I won't have time to finish it any soon.

There was some hiccups on the beginning (technical problem) but it went well I think.

Yup ! it's always interesting to see other people's techniques and how they use the tools in their own way !

I found another nice TVPaint animator on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/matthieu_supercool
He draws cute dogs... who don't like cute dogs !!?

New timelapse of a clean-up session:

I know... those characters are way too detailed but they were not designed for animation but I try to stay as close à possible to the models anyway.
In fact, after finishing each scene's rough, I send the main key poses to the designer (Roonsheen) for him to check and fix them.
Then he send them back to me and I adapt the remaining poses and inbetweens to his references.

Wow thats a crazy amount of detail in the character!
I notice you are working with an older version of TVPaint,
don't you think you could benefit from the ctg layer for coloring?

The designs were not intended for animation but I try to be as close as possible to them, wich is quite a challenge to be honest.

At work I use TVP 11.5 Pro so I know about the CTG layer and already used it. I can say it's pretty effective !
But since this is a personnal project, I'm using my own TVP licence (10.5 standard) and I can't afford to upgrade it right now.
Well, since colouring is not the most time consuming part of the process, I still manage to work with the old tools. It just takes a bit more patience, wich is the one thing I never run out of. ^^

My entry to TVPaint & Wacom contest "Remember the 90s": https://www.instagram.com/p/CVbWNaJKRF-/

The image is pretty blurry on Instagram so I upoaded the animation on Youtube (with a modification on the layer of the roller-girl):

Here's the details of all the different steps and layers:
