non-rgb sketch panel (yellow, blue, black) in 11.0.9?

Post by CharlieC »

i'm teaching using a school's TVP 11.0.9 version, and i see in the online help doc (which i think is a combination of info on both older and newer versions) that the old "non-rgb" sketch panel (yellow, blue, black) is available somewhere but i can't locate it. is it available in 11.0.9?

thanks,
Charlie C

Hi Charlie,

If you go in the "Custom Panel" main menu, you should see a list of the panels loaded in TVPaint.
There should be at least one "Sketch Panel" in it. Do you have it?

If not, I can send it to you :)

under my custom panels i do have 'sketch panel' but it only opens the other 3 rgb panels "pastel without antialiasing", "pure w/o", and "rgb with antialiasing". is the older yellow/blue/black panel normally in this 11.0.9 version?
as for sending it to me, that would ultimately be very useful, but for now, while using a school copy of tvp, it seems that every time open it, any choices i've set up are reverted to default (although i haven't fully explored and verified to what extent.) i know there's the possibility of exporting/importing prefs, but i'm a bit rusty on doing that having not used tvp for a few years. also, the students would have to do that too if i'm recommending tools or kbsc that are not default. so for now i'm somewhat narrowing my focus on what defaults are available.
