JSON script won't work in After Effect 2023

I have tested AE 2023.5 and 2023.6, neither of them would work. Like it won't import anything at all. I am using tvpaint importer version 5.7 and the Cocoa's "5.7.2", none of them work.

This might be a stretch but worth trying: sometimes when JSON import does nothing in AE and I just do Window - Workspace - Reset "Standard" to saved layout - it magically starts working for me.
