Suggestion to be able to do this for any filled shaped on the fly.
Keyframer FX can be used for this but it needs a bit of workaround and several steps to achieve the same result to fill shapes of any kind.

weird, if i set an angle on the brush and then try to do a brush warp with the filling shape, there is no rotation?

Because I'm using Edit Brush for this and I forgot to mention it...
You're right, modifying the angle or other options available in the Tool: Custom Brush panel does affect the strokes but not the "filled shapes" at all, I never realized that!
It should have a reason that prevents this but I don't see what right now
