Our company kindly purchased the software for me some time ago, and it's been sitting largely unused as I've been trying to get my head around it and haven't quite yet built up the confidence to make something.
Think I finally kind of have enough of an idea to start on a short trailer for my new project. Been drawing the backgrounds on Procreate on iPad. I and a friend did the script years ago, voices and animatic were also done some time ago. Bit of a passion project with about a 20 min runtime - I know that's a big undertaking but I've tried to be as economic as I can and the pace is kind of laconic and slow.
If @Slowtiger is here, hi! Great seeing all your posts. Reminds me of the old Moho days. Slowtiger helped me a lot in my animation journey with his kind assistance and willingness to share in the LostMarble forums.

you're right, typically a project would be funded first, made and then the trailer cut from it. I got a bit of development funding for the script and animatic, so I'm cutting a little sizzle trailer from it on my own dime to a) learn TVPaint and b) share to contacts to see what appetite for further funding is.
