A modest request.
i have quite a large collection of custompanels.
it would be nice if we could organize them by having folders so i can group them in categories.
Much like the "windows" pull down looks now.

+1 Similar folder system might be useful for organizing custom FX Stack files as well.

Very good idea.
I want to do a rework of how Custom Panel work and make them easier to manage at some point during v12's life cycle, I am adding this to the list of things we should do

This is part of my ongoing request to make it easier to backup TVP with all settings and be able to export it so another artist could use those settings - not like a complete installation, but project-related. It should be possible to import a subset of custom panels and FX settings without having to create a complete new configuration (and lose my personal prefs in that way) - just add it to my personal work space.

Re: grouping / organizing custom panels
Hey, I just stumbled upon a bit of a workaround to this by accident and I haven't found it anywhere else on the forum.
If you rename your custom panel to whatever category you would like, for example in your screenshot "ArtisticBrushes" add a "/" after so it looks like "ArtisticBrushes/PanelNameHere" (without quotes) and it will add exactly what you have in your screenshot(which I'm assuming was a mock up, if this was already known then please ignore!). You can even add another SUB menu by adding another /, like ArtisticBrushes/MyPanels/PanelNameHere.
I'm not sure of any downsides/bugs from doing this yet, but aside from having to rename your panels if you want to export them without really long names it seems to work.

Wow!!!
That is crazy!
Assuming this functionality was there all along ...i consider it an "ok-done" from Hervé from his grave.
How i miss the guy.
Thank you for stumbling on and sharing it!
