Move framers in a Layer

i am so [bleeping] tired. I did exactly as it instructs and this [bleep] is not working. I have been at this for over an hour. Wasting time. It should not be this difficult to simply move a [bleeping] layer.
All I want to do is center the frames. It should be as easy as select all, move, and hit enter. And yet TV Paint instructs to...
move the object, undo, select all, and hit enter.

WHICH - I did.
And yet my layer is still in a red bounding box AND NOT [BLEEPING] CENETERED. Why is this so complicated?
The only time it works, it creates an ridiculous amount of frames when on SETTINGS [APPLY ON: Current Layer]
To avert that I have it set to [APPLY ON: SELECTED LAYER] but it won't set.

OK.
Select transform tool.
Move image. You'll see a green and a red rectangle now. As long as both are visible, nothing is done yet, you can adjust and change.
Hit enter. Only the green rectangle is visible. Transformed image has been written.
Undo. That last step is reversed, image is shown before transformation.
Select all shapes.
Select transform tool again. Hit enter: You'll see a green and a red rectangle again.
Hit enter again: now all frames will be changed and saved.

I have done this. And this is the same result each time

The only way around it is to set each frame to one instance PRIOR to repositioning the image myself. Then after repositioning the image arrange the frames back to how it was.
It's tedious to undo and redo everything simply because you need to reposition the image. Lord help me.

You need to disable 'auto break instance'. The button is located on each layer in the timeline, next to the 'lock position' button. Disabling auto break instance means the exposure of the selected instances won't be changed when applying the transformation onto the instances.
