I created this picture with the kind of animbrush used by Peter (see the "cool painting" topic) and some papers ... it was Mirage days ...
With the new connections and the ability to scale and rotate papers in TVPaint animation, I could do better quickly ! Sure !
Now all is easier with TVPaint Animation : the "luma stamp" mode allow me to use the color I need with my animbrush. No need to create thousand of brushes with different colors ... that is great !
the idea of this picture comes from the artbook "Mononoke Hime" p 35-36
The "spiky edges" come from another animbrush I created.how did you get the watercolor effect (those spiky edges)? is that just the brush or also the paper?
In fact, the animbrush Peter used is more "rough" (I don't know if it is the good word in english I mean not spiky ... ).
A very big paper (800*600) was used too.
For the yellow spiky edges, I used the "colorize" mode.
Each kind of cloud is on a separated layer.
but stop ... maybe I should write a tutorial about all this ...
